- Next Generation Child and Parent Center NFP in Chicago, Illinois is a non-profit organization that offers a variety of community based social services and resources to children; young adults and parents that have been exposed to ongoing trauma . NGCPC-NFP team provides comprehensive community based social work services and resources to families; individuals or organizations that will benefit from the following listed below.
- NGCPC -LLC is a Before and Afterschool Program that provides supportive academic and recreational programs to school age children . NGCPC-LLC will provide a variety of programs and hands on activities that will allow the next generation in the year 2023 and beyond to want to learn more . NGCPC-LLC has a STEM program to engage school age children to grow a Tower Garden full of healthy veggies and herbs that can be used to develop healthy eating habits , nutritional meal plans , help fight obesity, manage or prevent diabetes and add positively to human nutritional deficiency . - NGCPC -LLC offers programs that will encourage life long life skills through NGCPC-LLC program titled -Life Skills Initiative; a additional program, that offers social work services offered exclusively for school age children (age appropriate );young adults between the age of 17 to 21 years of age , in addition to the LGBTQ community( see next page for details).

Next Generation Child and Parent Center will work closely with DCFS and POS Agencies to provide complex case- management and trauma informed based services for parents in which the child or adolescent is born or exposed to either trauma, alcohol or illicit drugs .
Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide community based services where children and young adults can be involved in recreational, social, and academic supportive services provided by Next Generation Child and Parent Center and wrap around services and resources through NGCPC Before or After School Program. Our staff will connect with parents to engage parents in a process to develop a positive parent child relationship ; as well as, provide multiple resources to aid in effective parenting. Furthermore, NGCPC will make every effort to make it a point to foster member's desire for learning through efficient community based resources and within NGCPC before and afterschool program services.

It is our goal to provide every child and parent simultaneously with quality and efficient community based services and resources in addition too; providing a before and afterschool program in which each school age child can engage through out their life development.

Young adults and children are the genetic makeup of their parents, grandparents, siblings, and extended family. We believe that children and young adults are the foundation for future generations to build healthy family systems, presidential candidates, government officials, health professionals, and educators. This belief is formulated from theoretical perceptions of childhood development; a history of working exclusively with the Illinois's child welfare system that includes families and their children/ adolescents experiencing diverse hardships ( Dr . Linda ODaniel ).
